PLATINUM SERVICE (Sleeper Cabin) - Platinum Service is a luxury level of train travel, like no other Australian train accommodation. Platinum Cabins are approximately twice the size of the standard Gold Twin Cabins with each room offering deluxe accommodation including double beds, spacious ensuite and 24 hour room service. They have all the modern comforts, in a classic style, with a distinctly Australian character.
GOLD KANGAROO (Sleeper Cabin) - Choose from an elegant twin or single sleeper cabin. All have a private wash basin, with showers and toilets located at the end of each carriage. There is a comfortable lounge chair in each cabin which allows you to spend the day in comfort. At night the cabin converts to a sleeper with crisp sheets, pillow and doona.
RED KANGAROO (Sleeper Cabin) - Comprises two facing lounge chairs. At night the chairs convert to upper and lower sleeping berths complete with fresh sheets, pillows and doonas. These rooms are fitted with private wash basins, towels, wardrobe, vanity mirror, 3 pin 240/110AC power point, reading lamps and foldaway table. Showers and toilets are located at the end of each carriage.
RED KANGAROO (Daynight Seat) - Guests enjoy comfortable two abreast lounge seats. These are woollen cloth seats which recline for comfortable sleeping. Individual reading lights are provided above each seat. The seats can swivel to face each other if travelling with a group or you wish to talk to other guests. There is ample leg room when sitting in coach class seats, with fold out foot rests for your comfort. Video players are installed for entertainment and information.
